About Us

Unleashing potential to kindle change!

Our conviction is that "Tomorrow isn't just another sunrise; it embodies our HOPES. Empowering women means breaking the chains of centuries-old taboos because these issues affect us all as women, mothers, daughters, and sisters. Let's shatter the silence together!"

Vision: "Restore Hope and Peace through Awareness and Youth Empowerment"

Our Mission: Empower communities devastated by loss and conflict and provide comprehensive support to refugees, displaced persons, asylum seekers and new immigrants.

TheIturian, a nonprofit organization based in Windsor, Ontario, collaborates closely with community-based organizations, women's groups, and youth groups to launch initiatives that empower women and youth in vulnerable settings. Our efforts focus primarily on refugee settlements and displaced persons camps in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. As well as the host communities where refugees reside here in Canada

Raising awareness about sexual and reproductive health and rights is central to all our initiatives.

While our primary efforts target refugee settlements and displaced persons camps communities, we also focus on integrating and including immigrants and refugees in the new communities they call home after resettlement, guiding them through their educational journey in Canada
